Princess Belle

Gracie & Nana Marci went to Belle's Christmas Princess Camp at a Fairytale Ballet. Gracie & the other Belle's danced in Belle's signature yellow princess gown & made Christmas journals to bring home. Oh what a fun day!!!

Gingerbread House

The girls decorated a gingerbread house this afternoon. Josie really wanted to help decorate. However, she was taking the candy off as fast as Gracie was putting it on :)

First Snow Fall

Lincoln Park Zoo Lights

We took advantage of the mild Chicago weather tonight & made our first of hopefully many trips this holiday season to the Lincoln Park Zoo. Gracie's favorite was the dancing christmas trees. So we made one more trip to see the display before heading home so she could dance to Rudolph The Red Nose Reindeer.

Family Tradition

Instead of joining the crazy shopping crowd on Black Friday, The Rothleutner's tradition (see last year) is to head to Home Depot to purchase the family christmas tree. We found the perfect 10ft tree for our back deck. And then while daddy was paying for it...the girls & I shopped for another christmas tree to put inside :)

Josie's First Piggy Tail

Ballet Recital

Cinderella was the theme of Gracie's ballet recital today. The ballerina's were very excited to dress up in beautiful blue gowns to dance at the ball. After the ball they each took a turn at trying on the glass slipper. Good news...the slipper was a perfect fit!!!

Gracie's First Manicure

"See I have pink fingernails!!!" Gracie was very excited after receiving her first manicure. And she loves to show them to EVERYONE. Whenever she notices a LITTLE chip in one of her pink nails, she quickly requests another coat of pink polish too :)

More Fall Fun

We enjoyed another fun-filled fall day at our favorite spot...North Pond. Daddy was able to join us this time & there were LOTS MORE leaves for the girls to play in which is exactly what Gracie was hoping for :)

Fall Leaves

The girls & I took advantage of a warm fall day last week & went to our favorite spot at North Pond to play in the leaves. They had lots of fun throwing, jumping & rolling around in them :) Gracie is hoping that daddy can join us next time & keeps asking "Are there going to be LOTS MORE leaves Mommy?!?!".

Trick-Or-Treat

Our Witch & Kitty Cat went trick-or-treating with their cousins Mitch & Jack. Gracie was determined to get a WHOLE BUNCH of candy. If no one came to the door she would say "Let's go to the next house!!!". It was so cute to hear her say "trick-or-treat". Her favorite candy was ANYTHING chocolate...peanut butter cups, kit-kat, crunch bar & of course M&M's. Josie was just happy going along for the ride & holding her favorite candy of the night Dot's. Between the two of them we'll have candy for the rest of the year!!!

Pumpkin Decorating

The girls decorated pumpkins last night. Daddy took the lead by drawing the faces on the pumpkins & then Gracie painted & put stickers on them. Josie was very happy with the way Gracie decorated her pumpkin & loved pulling the stickers off of it :)

Halloween Party #2 At Gymboree

The girls went to a Halloween Party this afternoon with some friends & of course, we had to get a group photo of them in their adorable costumes. Well except for our little kitty cat, Josie, who kept crawling out of the photo. She sure is fast :)

Halloween Festival

Gracie & her friend Michael enjoyed their first Halloween Festival at their school. Pumpkin decorating, bouncy jumpers, face painting, pony rides etc. What a fun way to spend the day & meet some of Gracie's classmates. And she was the cutest & only witch there too :)
