Fun-Time With Family

Uncle Joel, Aunt Katina & Cousin Zoey jetted in from Pittsburgh for the day. We enjoyed a picnic in the park, lots of swinging & sliding, playtime in the sandbox & the girls ended the day cooling off by splashing around at the water table in our backyard.

A Day At The Beach

We spent Father's Day at the beach. The girls had fun with daddy splashing in the water & building sand castles. Daddy had fun too but came home with a sunburn!?!?

Daddy enjoyed the surprise photo shoot we did for Father's Day. It was a hard secret for Gracie to keep but she did it...yeah!!!

Make It Burn Mommy

The girls & mommy go to a workout stroller class near the Lincoln Park Zoo 2 days a week. Today Gracie worked on her biceps & triceps. Gracie's favorite workout saying is "Make It Burn Mommy!!!" Daddy taught her that one :)

Old Town Art Fair

We didn't purchase any artwork today but we did come home with a beautiful flower that Gracie made in the Kids Corner. It is now displayed in our kitchen :) Josie was less interested in the art but was very well rested after our outing.

Happy Birthday

Kris's birthday celebration...thanks for coming out.

Happy Birthday Daddy

The girls & mommy baked a chocolate cake for daddy's birthday. Gracie stirred & frosted the cake & of course also added LOTS & LOTS of sprinkles. Josie had an important role as she was in charge of the measuring cups & sprinkles. Mommy would have been lost without her little helpers :)

Gracie & Maisy

Nana Shirley came for a visit & spent many hours reading Gracie her favorite Maisy books. Her favorites this week are Maisy Dresses Up, Maisy's Pool & Maisy Goes Camping. The Very Hungry Caterpillar has also become a favorite especially the part where he gets a tummy ache!!!

Sandbox

"Is this the same sand as the beach?" This was the question that Gracie asked us at the park today. She then proceeded to play in the sandbox the entire time we were there!!!

Gracie's New House

Gracie & her babies have a new place to call home & they spent most of the day hanging out in their new digs. Josie & her babies moved in too & now pay rent to big sister Gracie :)
