Cruisin'

Spring is here so it's time for a family road trip. First stop...Detroit to visit our friends, The Cagigals. Gracie & her buddy Carson went Cruisin' in his little red corvette :)

Gracie's First Mani/Pedi

My favorite nail salon, Lily's Nails, is closing this week :( So it was only fitting that Gracie got her first mani/pedi there before the doors close. Lisa, the owner, was very happy to spoil Gracie & her friend Taylor. Gracie is now sporting her favorite color PINK & is oh so proud too!!!

Boogie Boarding At Ballet

Gracie enjoyed learning some "boogie boarding" moves today at ballet class. Ms. Maria taught them how to balance & shake it :) on the board before they "rode the waves". Definitely one of her favorite classes of the session. So fun!!!

Gracie's School Festival

Today was Gracie's Spring Festival at school...what a fun family outing. Highlights included bouncy jumping, face painting, balloon sculpting & Josie's favorite...the pony ride :) And of course, popcorn & pizza too. And Gracie's teachers Ms. Joan & Ms. Helen were there too so she was a VERY HAPPY girl!!!

Bath Time

Mommy Gets A Break

Gracie loves to push Josie on the swing at the park. And Josie doesn't mind it too much either :) They have so much fun giggling while Gracie yells "Do you want an underdog?!?!"

Dance Party

The girls love to dance!!! One of Josie's new moves is spinning ROUND & ROUND & ROUND. We get dizzy just watching her :)

Carousel Ride

The girls enjoyed their first carousel ride of the season at the Lincoln Park Zoo!!!

Pool Party

The Smith's hosted a POOL PARTY today & the girls had an absolute blast. Thanks Jim, Vicki & James for a great time. Gracie swam with her new water wings & was like a fish in the water. She only got out of the water for a quick snack :) Josie splashed & kicked around in her own floaty chair & ran laps around the pool too!!!

The Easter Bunny hid more eggs this morning at Nana Shirley's house...thank you Easter Bunny!!! Josie didn't need any help carrying her eggs...oh what a smart girl...Happy Easter :)

Easter Egg Hunt

Our annual Easter tradition...an easter egg hunt while visiting Nana Shirley in Iowa. We arrived a half hour early to get the perfect spot on the field. And our patience was tested as we all waited for the whistle to blow...but once it did the girls took off at full speed to collect as many eggs as their baskets could hold...oh the fun!!!
