Dancing With The Polar Bears

Gracie LOVES to visit the polar bears at the Lincoln Park Zoo. With each visit, we walk to the far end of the zoo to see them. We've been very unlucky though as many times the polar bears aren't out so Gracie will say "It's okay Mommy they must be sleeping, we'll check next time". Well today was our lucky day!!! We took Papa Will & Nana Marci to the LPZ & look who was taking a swim :) And thanks to Papa Will the girls got UP CLOSE for a kiss too :)

The Rothleutner Girls (Daddy, Papa & Nana too) enjoyed lots of planting over the Memorial Day weekend.

Train Ride

Josie enjoyed her FIRST train ride today at the Lincoln Park Zoo. Last summer she was too little to ride but this summer she can enjoy the ride with her big sister...who was very excited for her to join her :) Glad that I bought the "value pass" as I think we'll be taking lots of train rides this summer!!! And an extra bonus is they got to ride with their friends Caitlyn & Jake too.

Pinkalicious Party

One of Gracie's favorite books is Pinkalicious....imagine that since her favorite color is PINK!!! So today I took her to a Pinkalicious Party at one of our favorite stores...Little Threads. First up...a pinkalicious glitter manicure, followed by a fancy up do with sparkly beads & her day of beauty ended with a pinkalicious cupcake with lots of yummy sprinkles. And since she looked so pretty we had to enjoy lunch out on the town too.

Outing At North Pond

Our Mother's Day tradition is to go out for breakfast with the girls & then head to North Pond for some family fun. It was 60 degree's today so we enjoyed a walk along the pond & of course fed the ducks too. Gracie made sure ALL the ducks were fed & Josie enjoyed an extra snack as she ate more bread then she gave away :)

Baby Ballerina's

After watching Gracie in ballet class for months...Josie finally got her chance to dance :) Today was her first day of dance class & her favorite move was twirling in her tutu!!! Oohhh the memories of Gracie in her first ballerina class came rushing back to Mommy too...oohhh so fun!!!

Princess Nightgown

Gracie was very excited to wear her princess nightgown tonight. And it's her FIRST nightgown too!!! While dancing around in it she said, "Daddy, are you going to wear your nightgown tonight too?" :)

Gracie's New Scooter

Gracie has been asking for a scooter for a few weeks. So Daddy got her the princess scooter that she's been talking about :) Today was the first time she took if out for a spin. Of course, she rode it to the park. She's becoming quite the pro!!!

A Full Tub

The last highlight of our trip....the girls splashing for the first time together in the bathtub before bedtime :)

Children's Musuem

We enjoyed a fun-filled day at Pittsburgh's Children's Musuem where Gracie & Zoey took turns driving the Smart Car...and putting gas in it & washing it too :)

Snack Time

Next stop...Pittsburgh to visit Aunt Katina, Uncle Joel & Cousin Zoey. The girls took a break from playing by sharing snacks outside on Zoey's new bench.
