Another fun-filled summer day in Chicago. Today's outing was a trip to Millenium Park for Wiggleworms music at 10am in the Family Tent & then lots of splishing & splashing in the fountain. We also enjoyed a picnic lunch followed by, of course, more splishing & splashing. A great day with our friends...Jenny & Taylor & Jen & Jack :)
Pool party, pizza party & a princess pajama party...Gracie & Taylor looked so cute in their Princess PJ's!!!
Gracie, Josie & their best friend Taylor enjoyed their first pool party in our backyard...yeah for summer!!!
Daddy was on his way back from a week long trip to China on Father's Day so we celebrated today. We took him to his favorite mexican restaurant...Twisted Lizard...yummo!!! Our mexican chica loves to eat the chips & gave daddy the royal treatment on HIS DAY by feeding them to him one by one. A fun family day :)
Today would have been my parents 50th Anniversary...Wow what a milestone. So we took Nana Shirley out to celebrate. We sure do miss you Papa Bob!!! We could feel you in spirit :)
First day of summer soccer today...oh so fun!?!?! Coach Christian (aka Coach Banana's because of his yellow shirt) & Coach Violet taught Gracie a few new soccer moves. Looks like a fun summer ahead for our Lil' Kicker :)

Today was Gracie's first day of Pee Wee Camp & she was very excited to wear her new camp t-shirt. Many of her friends are at camp too so she'll have lots of fun this summer. Each week there is a different theme...this weeks them was "Show & Tell" so she took one of her favorite books to share. And she gets to go swimming too!!!
Mommy & daddy enjoyed watching Gracie at her recital today. Our little dancer now knows the following moves...first position, second position, plie, assemble, chasse, passe, saute, pirouette, arabesque, releve...we are so proud :)
Gracie enjoyed making & tasting daddy's birthday cake today. She picked out a vanilla cake with milk chocolate frosting...yummy!!! And blue icing because according to her "it's daddy's favorite color". And of course, she topped with lots & lots of sprinkles. 
Summer is officially here...Gracie had her class picnic today. Her FAVORITE part of the day was getting her picture taken with her favorite teacher, Ms. Helen. I think she gave her at least THREE hugs maybe even FOUR :)
Josie enjoyed all the special attention from Gracie's friends too :)
Gracie returned to the Baby Ballerina's class today but this time with her little sister :) She was so excited to dance with her & help her with her moves. So much so, that she held Josie's hand throughout the whole class :) Just wait until they can take a ballet class together...oh the fun for sisters!!! And maybe a recital too :)
