Our little Thumbelina's danced in their ballet recitals this week. Wearing beautiful purple fairy dresses & wings they showed us their favorite dance moves. They are becoming such good dancers :)
What a magical 4th Birthday for Gracie's friend Taylor. The girls came to the party dressed as their favorite princess & Gracie was very excited to be Cinderella!!! The highlight of the party was the arrival of Princess Belle in her beautiful yellow dress. She sang & danced with all the little princesses & read them the story The Beauty & The Beast. Even mommy joined in on the fun :)
Our friends, the Smith, visited from Iowa this week so we met for lunch at Rainforest Cafe. The kids enjoyed all the sights & sounds of the jungle-themed cafe. Especially the elephant & alligator which made them squeel with excitement. They were very interested with the alligator's teeth & Gracie wanted to feed him :) Gabby, Gracie & Josie also enjoyed posing for a few pictures. A very fun lunch!!!
Gracie enjoyed making GREEN Shamrock cookies today for St. Patty's Day. So much so that we went through 3 bottles of green spinkles :) We've been enjoying eating them all afternoon!!!
The girls were very excited to open the St. Patty's Day package sent from Papa Will & Nana Marci. And it only got more exciting when they discovered all the fun St. Patty's Day party favors. They wanted to try on everything in the box :) Josie loved the shamrock headband & Gracie loved the green braids that she said reminded her of Rapunzel :) Thanks Papa Will & Nana Marci...we're ready for the St. Patty's Day Parade & one of our favorite holidays!!!
Today we went to our favorite new play place...Little Beans Cafe. The girls enjoyed playing with their friends & the mommy's enjoyed catching up over latte's :) We love our Tuesday Playgroup!!!
This weekend I "road tripped" to Iowa to celebrate my friend Terra's 40th Birthday. It was the first time in a VERY LONG TIME that me & my 4 college roomates all got together!!! We enjoyed a day at the spa, comedy club, piano bar & lots & lots of laughs. It's amazing how it seemed like no time had passed by at all. I truly love these girls!!! We are already planning on getting together again this summer...yay!!! Thanks to our hubby's for letting us get away :)
Today we met cousin Zoey at the Kohl's Children's musuem. The girls had lots of fun playing & exploring all the fun activities. One of their FAVORITES was face painting!!! Especially since they were able to do it themselves :) They painted their faces for about a half hour & used each & every color!!! The smiles on their faces was priceless. And they couldn't stop admiring themselves in the mirror either. They each had their own individual styles...so fun!!!
