Birdhouses

While we were hiking, the girls were finishing their birdhouses. They each built a birdhouse for Papa & Nana's backyard. Gracie even helped Papa with the heavy lifting that's required to build a birdhouse :)  Happy feasting to all the little birdies in Tangent!!!

Cape Perpetua Hiking

We ended our last day of vacation hiking along the Pacific Ocean, very cool :) The views were absolutely amazing but too bad it was foggy at the top of our climb. We hiked when we first got engaged in Arizona & then again on our honeymoon in Italy almost 10 years ago. And we haven't hiked since those 2 times.  We definitely need to hike more often, so fun!!! :) And the girls would love it too.

Somewhere Over The Rainbow

What a wonderful surprise..the most beautiful rainbow in Papa' & Nana's backyard during a fun-filled day on the water slide.  The most memorable rainbow I can remember is the one that appeared the day my dad passed away.  Maybe a sign from Papa Bob from above watching these sweet little ladies enjoying summer sliding just like I did every summer when I was a little girl :) #familymemories

Our night ended with dinner on the patio of our favorite pizza place on the square eating pizza & people watching :)

Food Truck'n

Today we are enjoying sampling the Portland Food Trucks.  Breakfast sandwiches at Brunch Box on texas toast which were absolutely delicious!!! Lunch at Tito's Tacos for steak & pork tacos with an amazing hot sauce. And we ended our food truck'n day with a mid-afternoon snack at Elmasry Egyptian Food for the best Gyro EVER!!! Already looking forward to next year's Food Truck'n!!! :)

Enjoying our annual wine tasting Saturday in Dundee Hills on our way to Portland for a weekend sans the girls. It's a win win for everyone as the girls are having fun with Papa Will & Nana Marci :)

The Fireworks

It was a great night for the fireworks & we were entertained by the girls while we waited for the light show to begin.  Josie even did my hair for me :)  These silly girls definitely know how to have a good time.  Gracie took pictures & videos during the fireworks & I'm pretty certain she didn't miss one spark as she took over 400 photos!!!  Love the action photo of her as she's clicking away on her itouch capturing the night for us. A good time was had by all.
