Grateful, Thankful, Blessed
I'm truly grateful for the amazing friends that I have in my life. These ladies sure know who to make a girl feel extra special the night before her birthday. They treated me to dinner, drinks & a new bag because they thought mine was well as they tried to nicely put it "out of style!!!" :) So I've officially retired my colorful flower diaper bag that really became more than a diaper bag to me. Thanks ladies you are one in a million. XOXOXO
Chocolate Chippies
Next up...a Saturday breakfast date enjoying 3 orders of chocolate chip pancakes & 3 hot chocolates :)

Field Tripp'N at the Botanical Gardens
Today was my LUCKY DAY as I went Field Tripp'n to The Botanical Gardens with the 3rd Graders. And this field trip was destined for me to be a part of as I love flowers & so does Gracie. We started off in the classroom learning about the life cycle of a flower. I was so impressed with how much the kids already knew from learning & studying this topic in school. We then were able to explore 3 different Green Houses before returning back to the classroom where each child learned how to plant a flower which they were able to take home to care for & look after. The fall leaves were absolutely beautiful which made the trip even more memorable. I'm happy to report that Gracie is taking very good care of her marigold :)

Monday Night Football
Josie wanted to watch Monday Night Football with her daddy so she snuggled up with him on the coach. And then she proceeded to ask him a lot & a lot of questions about the game. Why they threw the ball to that guy & why did they wear that color of uniforms & which adult was the coach. Her questions were endless. It was getting late so she wasn't going to be able to stay up for the whole game. So as we tucked her in bed she said "will you let me know who wins the game?" & "can we watch football together again tomorrow night?" Awe look at those smiles. Perhaps Daddy will have a football fan to watch this weeks Ducks Game with him?!?!?

Da Bears
Cheering on the Bears on Football Sunday as their daddy's play against each other in Fantasy Football. Kris vs. Bill...good luck boys may the best one win :) These girls are having fun.
Good Luck Ms. Barry
Josie's teacher, Ms. Barry, ran the Chicago Marathon this year too. So Josie made her a very special sign with a picture of them together for race day :) She was so proud of her sign & she held it proudly as we watched for her at mile #9. Oh my, the patience she had as we scanned the 45,000 runners looking for her in a yellow neon colored shirt. And it just so happened that so many other runners were in neon yellow too as it was the popular color this year. We waited & we waited & we waited & Josie didn't give up. We told her where we would be standing but she missed us & we missed her. But Josie was just happy to be there cheering with her sign. Which she plans to take to school to give to her as a keepsake :)
Cheering On Liz
This is the 3rd year that we have cheered on our babysitter Liz as she runs in the Chicago Marathon. And bless her heart as she always stops at mile 9 for a quick picture with the girls. And how cool that this year Mitch who was the first little one in our family that she babysat got to see her running for the first time in the marathon too. Look at those smiles :) Congratulations Liz!!!
Chicago Marathon 2014
Today was the Chicago Marathon & we got up early to cheer on Uncle Sean as he ran his first marathon. We had our signs, pom poms & noise makes ready as we waited for him by our house at mile 9. It was fun to watch with Mitch, Jack & Brady too. Oh my, it was a beautiful day for the marathon. Congratulations Uncle Sean. We are very proud of your accomplishment.
