Cooking Camp

Today my little sous chefs are in training at cooking camp.  This weeks theme is "How To Pack A Picnic" which is a perfect theme for our family as we love to picnic :)  What a great day at camp as they made fruit kabobs, hummus & pita chips, chicken salad & blondies for dessert. #souschefs #rothleutnergirls

Farmer's Market

Our first farmer's market of the season with some of our favorite friends.  Ghost Pepper is certainly the summer rage & Gracie & I certainly agree as we like it HOT!!! We came home with lot of yummy sauces that we can't wait to try.

Elle's Birthday Party

Josie enjoyed her friend Elle's Princess Tea Party!!! Josie & Elle became friends last year at school. And even though Elle is a year behind Josie in school they developed a friendship in the bathroom. Yes, the bathroom at school, oh yes, my social butterfly at her best!!!  Elle's mom sent me a message requesting that Josie attend Elle's party as Elle's only request was for her to come to her party. So well of course she had to go.  As we walked into the party, Elle yelled "Girls, Josie is HERE, Josie is HERE!!!"  What a fun friendship for these two :) Elle insists that they will always be BFF's :) And it was an amazing party too.  Each little princess came home with a new dress-up princess dress.  Dreams really do come true!!!

Music Rocks Camp

Gracie did a week long camp where she learned how to play 5 different instruments & she recorded her own CD Track in the recording studio.  Next up The Voice :)

Birthday Surprise

Our daddy is turning 40 today so we are going to surprise him with a picnic in the park. How do you like the army green wagon we got him for his birthday that fits all of our picnic supplies? Hmm....he's a smart guy so we have to get him to the park where he will not be suspicious. Ahhh...Mommy calls him & tells him that Josie is hurt & he needs to come with ice as she can't walk.  Oh yes he believes the story & he's on his way....so we will just wait for him to arrive :)

Introducing Grace & the American Girl Doll of the Year also named Grace.  Of course, she had to have her as not only do they share the same name but they both love to bake.  A blonde & a brunette. We will call them Blondies :) Fun times ahead for these two.

Look at our big girl all grown up & in her first year on the dance team. I still remember taking you to your first baby ballerinas class when when you were just two years old & your little sister was just a baby.  You have always loved to dance & you do so with such poise & grace. You have grown so much this year in your technique & confidence & we are so proud of you.  Many good things are ahead for you our "Tiny Dancer" XOXOX

The first graders also had an awards ceremony on the last day of school.  Introducing "The Gummy Worms" Award for being the class "wiggler" & "dancer". The assessment sounds perfect :)

The Queen

On the last day of school it's a tradition to have a year-end class awards ceremony.   I'm proud to introduce "The Queen of Organization"  To the girl who was always on time for school & who was the only one in her class to have a perfect attendance record #perfectattendance.   Way to go Gracie!!! It was also noted that her homework was always completed on time & that her hair was always perfectly groomed :)  We are so proud of you Gracie Girl. Bring on 4th Grade. #ohthatsmile

Pioneer Day

They moved on from Mammals to Pioneers!!! :)  And today our little Laura Ingalls Wilder enjoyed a Wagon Trail adventure from her school to the park where after crossing the raging rapids they ate a pioneer lunch & sang songs & played games.  And a photo with her teachers, A MUST :)

Our Annie

Thank you Annie.  Every week while Gracie was practicing her ballet technique Josie & I went across the street to Old Town Social to do her homework as it was much quieter & there were many less distractions too :)  Annie always had "our table" ready for us with a "fancy" kiddie cocktail for Josie & a glass of Pinot Griego for me.  Over the past year we have worked on spelling, reading, math tables & we even practiced Josie's Gorilla Report for Annie. She has always been a supporter of a little girl who doesn't  always want to do her homework :)  Thank you Annie & I hope you like the card Josie made for you. We "heart" you & hope to see you next fall for school :)
