Freeze Dance

Our snow day ended with a dress-up dinner & dance party with some of our favorite friends...FREEZE!!   What a fun-filled day!?!?!

Snow Day!!!

"Best Snow Day Ever!!!" Gracie screamed as I pulled the girls home on their sleds. And Josie & I couldn't agree more :) And they were very impressed that I was able to pull them both home at the same time.  A very good workout for Mommy :)   So fun!!!

Our Little Snow Shovelers

Who would have thought shoveling snow would be so much fun?!?!? These two sure did as they had a great time helping mommy shovel 8-10 inches of snow!!! Thanks little helpers :)

Rothleutner Family Dinner

Kris will be traveling for work next week & he'll be gone close to 2 weeks!!! :(  So he thought it would be fun to do a family dinner on Saturday night with the menu "inspired" by the girls.  So we brainstormed dinner ideas & we encouraged them to create a menu that was well balanced & included all the food groups.   They both came up with lot & lots of ideas & many of their favorites were in the mix. But finally we all agreed to the menu & made our shopping list so Daddy & Gracie could go shopping!!!  Meanwhile Josie & I prepared the kitchen so we'd be all set upon their return.  The Rothleutner Dinner Menu included the following: Appetizers...Spinach Dip & a Fruit & Cheese Platter (with a last minute addition of mini pepperoni's too :)  Dinner...Homemade Macaroni & Cheese, Cucumbers with Ranch Dressing & a Salad.  Drinks:  Sparkling Pink Princess Drinks.  Dessert...Chocolate Chip Cookies.  Gracie took the lead on preparing the fruit platter & salad...she even used scissors to cut the salad into smaller pieces.  Josie assisted in preparing the macaroni & cheese & added lots & lots of cheese to our mixture.   Of course, the pink drinks in fancy cups were a crowd pleaser too.   Our dinner was delicious & was summed up nicely by Josie..."This is the best dinner ever!!!!"
