Anchor Ball
Tonight we attended the Anchor Ball at The Aqua Hotel. It's the annual fundraiser benefiting the girls school. We enjoyed a fun-filled night of dinner & dancing & lots & lots of socializing with friends from school. Gracie's teachers even posed for a picture for Gracie to enjoy :) And we came home with four VIP seats for the girls upcoming Spring Concert. Worth every penny too as we won't have to go early or elbow our way (ha ha!!!) to the front row. :) I can't wait to see them perform from my VIP seat.

A Surprise For Daddy
Kris was in Japan for work for close to 2 weeks...ugh!!! To welcome him home, Gracie created a special note for him on the ipad along with a card & some goodies...starburst & money from her wallet :) Daddy loved it too!!! :) We are very glad to have him home.
Making Sammies
Today the first graders made ham sandwiches for the homeless in Chicago. And I volunteered to help them :) After we made our ham sandwiches we went through an assembly line to make sure that they had some other goodies for lunch too...hard boiled eggs, pretzels, a banana, a juice box, skittles & a special card created by one of the first graders. What a great way to start a Friday morning by making a difference for those who are less fortunate than us. And a lifelong lesson for a six year old too :) And thanks to Gracie's teacher for capturing us making sammies together!!! :)
