Hot Chocolate Date

Josie had a play day after school today & daddy was working from home so he treated Gracie to a daddy/daughter hot chocolate date at Starbucks.  She sure looks like she's having fun :)

If A Lived In A Snow Globe...

According to Josie "If I lived in a snow globe...I would watch a movie"  And as you can see by the picture she drew she would be watching Frozen :) I hope I'm invited to her snow globe!!!

BMF

I always enjoy unpacking Gracie's backpack from school as almost every day she has written me a note or has drawn me a picture.  Today I came across this picture.   It took me a minute to figure out BMF?  BMF aka (also known as) "Best Mom Forever"  Awe...thank you my sweet Gracie Girl :)  Right back at you Gracie XOXO

Mad Scientist

This week Gracie's book report was to read a book from the library & then do an experiment from the book.  She chose the book Investigating Science: How Do We Use Materials.  She also had to include her hypothesis & findings in a a Lab Report & present her experiment to the class.  This one sounded like a good one for her & daddy :)  She chose to do the experiment "Float or Sink".  She picked 9 items to test such as coins, bottles, pencils & even daddy's sock!!! Which by the way did sink which she thought was funny :) They filled up the bath tub & our Mad Scientist went to work conducting her research study.   And her hypothesis was correct for 7 of the 9 items.  Way to go Mad Scientist Gracie & good luck presenting your findings to your class :) And a special thanks to daddy for capturing these photos while I was in New Jersey!!! :)

Daddy's Selfie

While Mommy was away the girls enjoyed a fun-filled weekend with Daddy.  Some of the highlights included movie night, a shopping spree & lunch at BW3's.  And of course Daddy sent Mommy this "Selfie" as he knew that I would enjoy it.  Nicely done :)
