Lately Josie has been into writing notes to us. She enjoys leaving them & practicing spelling words on her own. Today I came home from dropping the girls off at school and this is what I found waiting for me on the chair. She left 2 notes. One was for her beloved baby & the other was for me & daddy. This certainly made my day & even maybe my week. Thanks Josie Boo.
Note To Baby: I love you baby. I will be back in a few hours.

Look who we ran into on our way home from school. We love you Ellie :) She invited us in to play at the new Alcott Play Lot :)

Tonight was the Fall Welcome at school which is always a fun-filled evening to meet the girls teachers & catch up with our favorite parents. This year we enjoyed Josie's picture of herself & a little bit about herself too. Her teachers wish for the class & all the goodies she sent home. And Gracie wrote us a special letter & asked us to look into her desk. Her desk was super organized (of course) but she & a few friends have started writing a book which we got to read a sneak peak of the first chapter. Looks like fourth & second grade a shaping up to be a great year!!! We love you girls!!! :)
We are kicking off the LONG Labor Day Weekend with a slumber party at our neighbors :) Movie & popcorn, anyone?!?!
The last day of the first week of school & they are still holding hands on their way to school :) Oh how I "heart" this. #rothleutnergirls
Our first playdate of the school year on the second day of school for these best buddies Josie & Elle. Even though Elle is in first grade & Josie is in second grade they struck up a fast friendship in the bathroom last year. Only girls will socialize & make friends in the bathroom, right?!?! They walked hand & hand all the way home. A fun-filled day & they are already planning their next play day.
