The girls & I went for a run along Lake Michigan this morning & then we stopped at North Pond to visit our little fish Lila :) Gracie wanted to bring binoculars so that we could really get a good look at her. When we arrived we saw some turtles swimming in the water. And then we noticed big circles in the water too & it seemed like the fish were swimming & dancing around us. We had no doubt that this was Lila swimming right in front of us. So we talked to her for a little bit & then told her we'd be back soon to visit. Oh my how excited these girls are to have their very own gold fish swimming at North Pond.

Awww...look at the smile on her face :) Josie just won an adorable fish at the ping pong toss game. The girls decided to name her Lila. Well, because it sounded like such a cute fish name. We carried her around all afternoon & we took such good care of her too. Although rumor on the street was that she probably wouldn't live very long :( Thankfully the girls didn't hear these rumors as they were so excited about giving her a good home. On the way home, Gracie noticed that she was "sleeping" :( So we decided that when she woke up we would take her to our favorite pond near our house so that she could swim with her friends. So we said good night to her & when daddy woke up early in the morning before the rest of us, he took her to North Pond. We are very excited to visit her soon :)

Bring On The Games

The girls played many games tonight & they were winning lots & lots of fun prizes. I guess you could say "These girls are on fire!!!" The lyrics to one of Gracie's favorite songs :) Josie was most excited about all of the stuffed animals. Such a good time hanging out with our family & friends at one of our favorite street festivals.
