This week Gracie's class is studying Native Americans & to get into the theme each child got to pick a Native American name. Gracie chose the name "Pretty Butterfly" which was not surprising since she has always loved butterflies & butterfly was also one of the first words she learned too :) To help her get into the theme, we thought it would be fun for the entire family to have a Native American name. So we each selected one & have been calling each other by the name all week. Daddy was "Tall Tree, Mommy was "Bright Sunshine" & Josie was "Pretty Blossom". Such a fun way to celebrate culture.
