Gracie & I went to visit Kris at his office last week. Gracie enjoyed running through the halls & meeting his co-workers. She also helped with some of his workload as she "crunched" some numbers while sitting at his desk. After her work was complete we headed to the cafeteria for some lunch. Who would have thought "work" could be so much fun!?!?!
We are still celebrating in Chicago as the Cubs SWEPT the SOX during the weekend's Cross-Town Classic!!! Kris & Laurie went to the game on Saturday & cheered the Cubs on to a 9 run 4th inning. On Sunday, Gracie sported her team spirit by wearing cubby pink as she SWEPT the house in anticipation of another Cubs Win & THE SWEEP!

Gracie's hair is finally long enough for piggy tails. I'm not sure who was more excited Laurie or Gracie :) She likes to stand in front of the mirror & shake her head really fast & watch them move. And a perfect weekend to sport piggy tails as it was in the 90's in Chicago!?!? To cool off, she splashed around in her cousins, Mitch & Jack's, pool. It was her first pool outing of the summer.

Gracie LOVES her new baby stroller & has been doing laps in our house pushing her baby from room to room. Today she was very happy as we took her baby for a walk on the sidewalks of Lincoln Park. Looks like baby will be enjoying the summer in Chicago :)
