It's always a good time hanging out with the Cucick girls...which we like to call them all the Fab 5. Thanks for hosting us for a yummy dinner & Easter egg decorating.  A fun-filled night for all.

Happy Birthday Taylor

Look who surprised up by coming to Chicago for her birthday.  Yep, that's the girls friend Taylor. So we enjoyed a GDO with her on her birthday.  Happy #8 Taylor. The day started with a yummy brunch which included hot chocolates & ended with manicures. The girls made her a very special home-made birthday card too.  And a double bonus for us too as we get to celebrate again at her birthday party in Minnesota next week :)

Silly Goofy Girl

Josie loves to have a fun & she loves to have a partner in crime. Tonight her partner was Papa Will.  She decided they were going to share secrets & hide from the rest of us.  Hmm....looks like I captured their hiding spot :)  Right before the Princess was carried off to bed.  

The Trap

The Gibbs came over today after school for a play day.  Gracie & Grace headed right to the play room to sing & dance.  And since they weren't especially keen on the idea of Josie & Conor joining them, Josie & Conor decided to build a "Trap"  So they found whatever they could get their hands on to block the playroom door.  As you can see they are very proud of their Trap.  It provided a good hour of fun too as they tried to get the girls to open the door.  At one point, they even had all the lights off & were howling like wolves.  A good time was had by all.   Easy entertainment for 6 year old :)

Welcome To The First Grade Mass

The First Graders planned the All School Mass for March.  And Josie was chosen to be one of the greeters.  She was very excited for her special part in mass & came home & officially invited us to mass. I was able to capture her giving daddy his program for mass too.  What a memory for her. as I still remember when my mom & dad would come to the All School Mass when I was in grade school :)

Nana's 80th Birthday Bash

Today 30+ family & friends joined us in Dubuque to celebrate my mom's 80th Birthday.  We enjoyed good conversations, many laughs & some yummy Italian food.  And of course, a delicious birthday cake that Josie thought was "Awesome".  She wasn't the only one taking about the cake.  My mom sure makes 80 look amazing & she's one lucky lady to have so many good friends in her life.  Happy Birthday Mom & Nana Shirley!!! XOXOX

The 3rd Graders are studying the French artist Artist Henry Matisse.  Their current project was inspired by his Masterpiece Of A Big Fish Aquarium.  They used model magic to make a fish & then created it's habitat.   Next up, painting their masterpiece .  Gracie brought her masterpiece home today.  Very impressive Gracie, nicely done :)

Happy Hump Day!!! The girls have been working so hard at school this week & Gracie is doing a great job at her Terra Nova tests that we treated them to a family dinner tonight.  We went to a new French Bistro in our neighborhood.  Gracie enjoyed the salmon & salad & Josie loved the french bread & french fries :)  And Kiddie Cocktails too. Baby's Book Day

And too much internet fun on Monday for Baby means I have to read her Josie's library books today :)  It's never a dull moment.

Internet Baby

Josie left her itouch for her baby to play with today while she is at school. She told me that I could look at her pictures but NOT to touch anything else.  Hmm....I wonder where she heard this from before :)  Hopefully she'll be pleased that I followed her instructions :)

Josie loves to play with her squinkies & today she lined all 80+ of them along the fireplace. She was very impressed with her line-up & wanted a photo of her hard work. :)
