It's Official...

Starlet Board Bonus

Look who brought home the first Starlet Board of the dance season for her level in her first year on the team.  It certainly was a good dance week for the girls.  Way to go Josie!!!  Gracie even said on our way to pick Josie up from class, "Wouldn't it be cool if Josie got the board the first week too!!!"  Yes, Gracie it was very cool!!!

Starlet Board

Gracie started her 2nd year on the Starlets Dance Team. Every week there is a dancer who is chosen to receive the "Starlet Board" for being the dancer of the week.  Look who brought home the first Starlet Board of the dance season. Way to go Gracie!!!

Baby & Beanie Boos

Today I came back from school drop off & Josie left her baby in the company of two of her favorite Beanie Boos!!!  I guess I get a little bit of a break from watching baby today :)

Road Tripp'N

We enjoyed a last minute visit to Chicago from Becky & then a road trip to Iowa with her too.  Certainly wish it was under better circumstances as we went back to say good-bye to our friend Renee's Dad who lost his battle with Cancer.  A special thanks to my hubby who drove us there & back in one day & listened patiently to 4 girls who like to talk :)  8 hours in the car together whoop whoop!!!

Love Notes

Lately Josie has been into writing notes to us. She enjoys leaving them & practicing spelling words on her own.  Today I came home from dropping the girls off at school and this is what I found waiting for me on the chair. She left 2 notes.  One was for her beloved baby & the other was for me & daddy.   This certainly made my day & even maybe my week.   Thanks Josie Boo.

Fall Welcome

Tonight was the Fall Welcome at school which is always a fun-filled evening to meet the girls teachers & catch up with our favorite parents. This year we enjoyed Josie's picture of herself & a little bit about herself too. Her teachers wish for the class & all the goodies she sent home. And Gracie wrote us a special letter & asked us to look into her desk.  Her desk was super organized (of course) but she & a few friends have started writing a book which we got to read a sneak peak of the first chapter.  Looks like fourth & second grade a shaping up to be a great year!!! We love you girls!!! :)

Labor Day Slumber Party

We are kicking off the LONG Labor Day Weekend with a slumber party at our neighbors :) Movie & popcorn, anyone?!?!

Best Buddies

Our first playdate of the school year on the second day of school for these best buddies Josie & Elle.  Even though Elle is in first grade & Josie is in second grade they struck up a fast friendship in the bathroom last year.  Only girls will socialize & make friends in the bathroom, right?!?!   They walked hand & hand all the way home.  A fun-filled day & they are already planning their next play day.
