Princesses & Super Heroes

Cinderella Gracie & Fairy Princess Josie enjoyed a fun filled day with their favorite Super Heros....Spider Man Michael & Nicholas & Superman JT. They trick-or-treated along Southport Avenue at some of our favorite local merchants. And came home with lots & lots of candy too!!! What good practice for the upcoming Halloween Holiday :) And look who has her glass slippers on today too!!!

Gracie's School Festival

Gracie was very excited for her school festival today. I'm not sure if she was more excited to see her friends at the party or to dress up in her cinderella costume :) She absolutely loves her costume...especially her fancy crown & glass slippers. Although today she had to wear her rain boots as it rained all morning. Luckily, the sun came out & it turned out to be a beautiful day. As soon as we arrived at the festival she wanted to find her teachers. So she was very happy to get a photo with her teachers Ms. Rose & Ms. Joan. They seemed to enjoy getting their photo with her too :)

Surprise Party

My birthday celebration continued tonight when my "mommy group" threw me a SURPRISE PARTY at Lily's Nail. Our night of beauty consisted of mani/pedi's while also enjoying two of my favorite things...sushi & champagne!!! I am very thankful that almost 4 years ago I met such an amazing group of women. And I love that not only have we become such good friends but that our little ones have too :) Another wonderful birthday celebration!!!

Princess Jasmine

Today's book was Walt Disney's Alladin & Gracie got to dress up as Princess Jasmine. She especially loved wearing the "poofy pants" & also riding on a magic carpet...another fun day at ballet!!!

More Pumpkin Patch Fun

Pumpkin Patch

Today we headed to Didier Farms for our annual pumpkin patch outing. We enjoyed a fun-filled day beginning with a family hayride. Then it was time for the carnival rides...thankfully the girls had wristbands for unlimited rides :) We ended the day with hot dogs, pizza & of course their famous pumpkin donuts.

Birthday Cupcakes

The girls treated me to birthday cupcakes at one of our favorite spots...Molly's Cupcakes!!! I enjoyed a very special birthday with my favorite girls & hubby!!! I'm a very lucky mommy :)

Birthday Dinner At Devon's

We celebrated my birthday in a private room at one of my favorite restaurants...Devon's. Thanks to my wonderful family & friends who helped me celebrate in Chicago. And I especially enjoyed that they served one of my favorite champagne's from Napa Valley from Domain Carneros :) What a fun night!!!

Rapunzel

"Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let your hair down." Today's book was a classic!!! And after reading the book today they dressed up like Rapunzel. Of course, the highlight of class was wearing her pretty golden blond braids....oh so fun!!! The cutest Rapunzel in class :)

Didier Farms

We spent a fun-filled day today at Dieder Farms with our friends. The girls enjoyed a hayride around the pumpkin patch & rode lots & lots of carnival rides. And the outing wasn't complete until we sampled & brought home their famous pumpkin & apple donuts :) The girls are already excited to take Daddy there for another day of fun!!!

Harvest Days...Lincoln Park Zoo

Today we went to Harvest Days at the Lincoln Park Zoo. The highlight of the outing was going to the pumpkin patch to search for the perfect pumpkin. Josie was very pleased with her little pumpkin. Gracie found her pumpkin pretty quickly & continued to tell us "This is the BIGGEST pumpkin EVER!!!" A fun day for all :)
