Lettice The Dancing Rabbit

This weeks book was about a bunny named Lettice who yearns to be a dancer. She enrolls herself in ballet class & impresses everyone with her extraordinary leaps & twirls. Josie dressed up just like the adorable bunny while she practiced her moves. She even got to do her jumps over a piece of plastic lettuce :) Love those bunny ears!!!

Slumber Party

Cousin Zoey moved to the Windy City on Friday & it's been a BIG PARTY at our house ever since she arrived into town :) Tonight the girls had a movie party, pizza party & pajama party. And they dressed up in their matching night gowns...oh so fun!!! Welcome to Chicago Zoey...let the girly fun begin :) Triple Yay!!!

Pizza Party

Papa Will & Nana Marci bought us mini pizza pans...so tonight we had a PIZZA PARTY!!! We each topped our pizza with our favorite toppings...oh so fun!!! Gracie topped her pizza with her favortie topping...cheese :) Josie enjoyed playing with the dough & by the time she was finished it looked like a heart in the middle...wonder if she did that on purpose :) Such a fun family dinner.

Valentine's Day Cookies

Gracie & Nana Marci made Valentine's Day cookies...a fun little tradition they do every Valentine's Day. Gracie is becoming quite the little baker. She enjoyed making the dough, rolling the dough, cutting the cookies into hearts, adding lots & lots of pink & red sprinkles & most importantly tasting the home-made frosting while decorating the cookies :) They sure were yummy!!!

Valentine's Day Party

Today we celebrated Valentine's Day with our Tuesday Play Group. It was a "Twist 'N Top" pretzel party!!! The kids created heart-shaped pretzels & then topped them with their favorite toppings :) While the pretels baked they decorated Valentine's for each other. The Little Chefs enjoyed twisting, baking & tasting their creations & what a fun way to celebrate the holiday with their friends.

Packer Dance

We enjoyed watching the Superbowl at our house...especially the post touchdown Packer Dance :) Way to go Superbowl Champs!!!

Snow Day Continued...

Snow Day

It's being called the Blizzard of 2011 & the title did not disappoint us. It started snowing on Tuesday afternoon & by the time we got up on Wednesday morning we had almost 2 feet of snow!!! The snow drifts were so high that we could barely make it out our front & back door. So what did we do? Well of course, we had a SNOW DAY!!! The girls enjoyed watching the snow fall all morning long & by lunchtime it finally stopped & the sun came out so we went out & enjoyed sledding "Chicago Style" down our street....oh so fun!!!
